tranSend provides the opportunity of one year of service for young adult individuals and couples who are exploring a future long-term ministry. Through this valuable experience, you will learn the principles of international ministry which can build a foundation for future long-term service.
A cross-cultural ministry setting is a place for learning and practicing holistic ministry along with the guidance of an experienced field worker.
Core areas of work and study include:
• Team building
• Language and culture
• Major world religions
• Church planting
• Online academic
training with Eastern Mennonite Seminary
• Other areas adjusted to
individual’s interest
and call
Walk alongside.
An experienced field worker will walk alongside you providing encouragement, accountability
and insight.Relating to the local community and other mission workers allows for discernment as God’s call becomes clear.

Your interests and gifts can fit many service locations around the world, and tranSend can open the door for you to:
• Shadow a long-term mission worker
• Witness among the unreached
• Teach English
• Teach the children of mission workers
• Teach music for worship
• Organize youth clubs
• Participate in community development
• Receive training for long-term cross-cultural ministry
• Explore other talents and ways to use them
